It's been an interest of mine for a while now to get this site moved onto a server at home so I have more control over the software installed. The major issue has been that I've been interested in playing with all the new stuff in PHP5, but the hosting service I've been using has been unwilling to upgrade.

About a year ago the owner of New Media Learning contacted me to see what we could do about putting their customer information into a database application of some sort. I worked for another company of his throughout university designing and implementing a Real Estate management database for them in Access 2.0 (yes, it was that long ago). Needless to say, the current project does not use Access.
The current project is a customer relationship management solution. It's only being worked on in fits and starts, but things seemed to have picked up lately.
